I recently upgraded from the Whoop 4 to the new Whoop MG and I absolutely love the new device! Whoop has been instrumental in helping me better understand my training, sleep, and how to optimize my workouts… it’s been a game changer!
I wanted to share a couple of suggestions that I hope you might consider for future software updates:
Apple Health Integration for Blood Pressure
I currently use a blood pressure monitor that syncs with Apple Health. It would be fantastic if the Whoop MG could periodically access this data as well as keep the current manual option.
Offline Recovery Estimation
With the increasing capabilities of mobile devices and AI, I wonder if the Whoop app could learn an individual’s sleep and recovery patterns well enough to estimate recovery scores even when offline. This would be incredibly helpful for users like me who go on extended offline trips and are often without internet access for days. Being able to see an estimated score during these periods would make Whoop even better for people like me who go offline for days on end bikepacking.
Thanks again for such a great upgrade—and for continuing to help me get the most out of my training.
Thanks for getting back to me and for talking to the team. My trips can often be five to seven days where I am not near internet - one of the joys of the Highlands of Scotland! Just me, the tent and my Whoop.
Yes, storing the data for 14 days is perfect, however what would be great is for the sleep and recovery to be calculated without a net connection - for example against other recoveries that it had observed from a user (against a baseline maybe?). This would be super useful for those times where I am offline but would still like to set my goals based on my Whoop. As soon as a user got back into Wifi, it would update with a fully qualified measurement.
Great about the Apple Health and BP - that would be awesome!
