Hi WHOOP team,
I’ve encountered a bug in the WHOOP community group chat feature. When I try to share an image in the chat, it appears to attach successfully, but it doesn’t load for me or for others in the group. Instead, there’s just a dark empty space where the image should be.
This issue has been ongoing for quite a while — for at least three months.
Please let me know if this is a known bug or if there’s a workaround. Thank you!

I am experiencing the exact same issue and have had it for a while and have been searching for answers hoping it’ll be resolved which it still hasn’t.

In addition to the image upload issue, I’ve noticed that the community chat feature in general hasn’t been working well for quite some time. Messages don’t always get delivered, notifications are inconsistent, and it’s often impossible to share content — not just photos, but also performance graphs and other data from the app.
This is a pretty big limitation, especially since the whole point of the community is to connect and support each other. I’ve spent a lot of time encouraging friends to join WHOOP, but now we often have to switch to third-party apps and chats to actually discuss our progress.
It would be amazing if these issues could be resolved soon. Thanks again for looking into it!
Thanks for the feedback @ninikuku. I agree that we have some work to do on our Community product. Our focus over the past several months have been on the 5.0 and MG recent product release. We’re starting to ramp up conversations around community (a part of which is this forum) and I can see a world where we invest here in a big way. For now, I’ll keep aggregating feedback like yours to the Product team. Thank you so much.
