I see that it does not customize for muscular load. Any circus trainers find this highly innacurate or unhelpful?
I’ve found that WHOOP works pretty well for all kinds of workouts, even ones with a lot of different movements. But for circus arts, where your wrists are doing all sorts of wild things, you’ll get more accurate data if you wear it higher up your arm. I’d recommend using the bicep band or WHOOP Body gear to keep the sensor stable and cut down on motion noise.
Since WHOOP tracks your strain using heart rate, motion, and orientation, how you wear it really matters, especially for something as dynamic as circus training.
