Low battery notification on phone

Unless I missed it, why can’t we receive a notification on the phone when battery goes below a certain threshold (tbd)? That would be useful and convenient as a reminder to charge our Whoops, I think …

That’s a great idea. Currently, WHOOP doesn’t send low battery notifications to your phone, but you can check your device’s battery level in the app or by double-tapping the sensor.

WHOOP recommends charging when the LED on your device turns yellow (20-49%) or red (below 20%) to avoid interruptions in tracking. If you’re worried about forgetting, consider charging during low-activity times like while sitting at your desk or watching TV.

I used to get recovery notifications in the morning after waking, activity notifications, battery below 20% notifications, plan sleep notifications, now I haven’t had any of these for about a week, what has happened?

@DAZZANO7 Thanks for the note. Is your WHOOP app open in the background? If the WHOOP app is closed, the data won’t be caught up and so it won’t know about the activities happening until you open the app and refresh.

Would you mind also taking a look to see if you have notifications on in your Apple notifications settings for the WHOOP app? Just to double check.

Here’s what mine looks like:
