After upgrading to the new Whoop

So I have about eight bands and two batteries along with my old Whoop. What do I do with this other than throwing it away? is there a program in place for the old tech/bands/batteries?

If you’re ready to part ways with your WHOOP gear, don’t toss it—repurpose or recycle it. Here are a few easy, sustainable options:

Give your WHOOP 4.0 a second life:
Pass your device along to a friend or family member who’s curious about WHOOP. It’s a great way to extend its use and support sustainability. Bonus: they’ll get a trial or discounted membership, and your device stays covered under our lifetime warranty.

Recycle or repurpose your bands:
You’ve got options here:

  • Drop them off at local textile recycling bins.
  • Mail them to programs like Trashie or Suay.
  • Or get creative! Bands can be turned into fiberboard, accessories, or even stitched together into something entirely new.

Batteries:
WHOOP batteries should be recycled as e-waste. Check your local electronics recycling program or drop-off site.
