Aussie dollar cost of MG & availability of Life features in Aus

Hi WHOOP,

  • I’m based in Australia (member for 5+ yrs), do you have any visibility on when the heart screener with ECG readings and irregular heart rhythm notifications will be available here? They are two big features of the MG and Life membership so it would be good to know how soon they’ll be available to Australians? Even a ballpark estimate. Are we talking more than 12 months?

  • Why is the USD price amount to AUD so off? For example, Peak membership is USD$239 p/year which equates to approx AUD$372 and your app is showing me AUD$379 p/year which is fine. However, for Life membership, your app is showing me AUD$629 p/year yet the USD cost for Life membership is only USD$359 p/year. USD$359 should be approximately AUD$560 p/year. What is accounting for the AUD$69 additional charge here?

  • If I upgrade to MG, I would want to upgrade for two years, not a single year. I’ve always purchased 2-3 year memberships up front, there doesn’t appear to be an option for two years when upgrading either on the app or on the desktop website, can you shed any light?

Re: Price of Life vs. Peak… there will be times when the delta between the memberships is different.

Re: Signing up for two years vs. one. We didn’t build this into our ecomm flow. After conducting user testing w/ members, we decided it was less confusion / more straight forward to build it to only allow for a single year upgrade.
