- Automatic Fitness & Sleep Status Integration with iPhone
It would be extremely helpful if Whoop could automatically enable the iPhone’s Fitness Status when starting an activity—especially Strength Training. Apps like Hevy and SmartGym already offer this integration, allowing users to see active energy, exercise minutes, and other metrics in Apple Fitness.
Similarly, when Whoop detects that I’m going to sleep or manually sets Sleep Mode, it would be great if it could trigger the Sleep Focus status on iPhone.
This would create a seamless experience across devices and allow better Do Not Disturb behavior and data syncing with the Apple ecosystem.
- In-Workout Gesture to Trigger Next Set
During strength training, I often find myself needing to interact with my phone to start the next set. I’d love a hands-free solution where I could tap my Whoop band (e.g., double tap) to signal that I’m starting the next set or moving to the next exercise.
This would be especially useful during sweaty workouts where grabbing the phone isn’t ideal. It could work similarly to how Apple Watch gestures or ring-based fitness trackers function for in-workout controls.
