Heart rate stuck on calibrating

Heart rate stuck on calibrating

Heart rate is often stuck on calibrating, resetting device fixes it for short time. This only appears to be an issue in the Health tab as when stating an activity it measures correctly. any advice? This issue seems to be wide spread. I hope they fix this soon.

@Asana My buddy Nick is on the case and investigating this one for you. Stay tuned.

Hi @Asana - could you confirm that this is an Android device and what app version it is on? Also is this your account or someone else’s?

Hi.. I recently updated to app version 5.3.0 and i use iphone This is my account. Even when i wear the device and the app shows always showing calibrating and not showing HR. I have this problem after upgrading to 5.0

Hi @Asana - I’ve rolled out a fix to you. If you restart your app the fix should be applied. Let me know if you continue experience this issue after that!

Hi @ncipollo …Thank you for looking into it.. I still see the same issue after reopening the app. I also tried rebooting the device and also tried pairing the device again.

Hi @Asana,

Oof - sorry it’s still occurring. A few follow up question to help us further diagnose:

  1. The original screenshot you posted doesn’t look like an iPhone - the status bar looks different than the standard iOS status bar. Is that an image of your phone?
  2. Do you notice any messaging about the strap being off body on the home screen or health tab?
  3. Is this happening to you every time you visit the health monitor or health tab?

One thing i am observing is like its showing your whoop is off body always though i wear it tight on my wrist. When i go to health monitor it shows calibrating always and even in health tab also. I use iphone and sorry for the wrong screenshot. I can provide my whoop device ID if needed. Let me know if you need a new screenshot.

I am trying rebooting every time and its the same issue. Not sure if sensors are working properly or its software glitch. I never used to have this issue with 4.0 before.

Hey @Asana, sounds like something might be up with your strap. Someone from our team will reach out.
