Horrendous customer “support” - is this all done by AI?

hi guys,
anyone else had the issue that they couldn’t order an additional device for their family members for 75 usd? i have been on a very frustrating back and forth with the support team that is either an AI bot or extremely incompetent.

here is what happened:

  • I upgraded individually and paid for my plan. my mg device was shipped
  • Then I switched to a family plan and added a family member.
  • We were unable to order the device for the family member.
  • i reached out to support and after they said they cannot order a second device manually, they suggested to cancel the family plan to which I agreed after some hesitation as i dont understand why they cannot just trigger an order from their sjdd
  • whoop canceled the family plan.
  • I was forced to upgrade again individually, including myself – and paid again.
  • I also upgraded and paid for the family member’s plan but it still didn’t give me the option to order a device.
    summary:
  • Total: 3 payments for Life plan, 1 device, and numerous emails exchanged with no resolution.

who can help or give insights on how to get this resolved?
