I’m excited to start tracking my health metrics, but I can’t seem to get my WHOOP to connect to my iPhone. I’ve tried everything from restarting my phone to turning Bluetooth on and off. Am I missing a step in the setup process? I’d love a clear, foolproof walkthrough.
There’s a great guide in our WHOOP support channel that has details about pairing your WHOOP to your iPhone. I’ve included some of the highlights below:
Let’s get your WHOOP paired up! Follow these steps for a smooth setup:
- Force Close the WHOOP App: Swipe up and close it completely on your iPhone.
- Forget WHOOP in Bluetooth Settings: Go to Settings > Bluetooth. If WHOOP appears under “My Devices,” tap the “i” icon and select “Forget This Device.”
- Restart Your iPhone: Fully power off your phone (don’t just restart) and turn it back on.
- Activate Pairing Mode on WHOOP:
- Remove WHOOP from your wrist.
- Wait for the green sensor light to turn off (off-wrist mode).
- Hold the sides of the WHOOP (gold contacts) and firmly tap the top repeatedly until you see one white LED strobing back and forth.
- Open the WHOOP App: Follow the in-app prompts to pair your device.
