Do I attach the battery pack while I’m wearing it, or is it best to remove the strap first, attach it to the battery and plug both into the wall?
The cool thing about WHOOP is that you can actually charge it on the go—no need to take it off your wrist if you don’t want to. You just slide the fully charged battery pack onto the strap while you’re wearing it, and it’ll start charging immediately. That means you can keep collecting data 24/7 without losing any tracking time.
Here’s what I recommend you do:
- Charge the battery pack itself via USBC (usually takes around 2 hours).
- Once it’s fully juiced, detach it from the charger. You’ll know it’s charged b/c the light on the battery will be green.
- Slide the battery pack right onto your WHOOP strap. You’ll see the lights flash to confirm it’s charging.
If you prefer or if you find it more comfortable, you can definitely remove the strap and battery pack together, then plug them in—but the main perk of WHOOP is you don’t have to pause tracking to recharge. Hope that helps!
