I’m curious if keeping the battery pack on the strap while I sleep is okay, or if it damages battery health.
I’ve definitely left mine attached overnight a bunch of times without any issues, especially if I’m too busy to remove it before crashing. WHOOP designed the battery pack so you can charge on the go—which includes while you sleep.
From what I’ve heard and experienced, keeping the battery pack on for an extended period doesn’t really damage the strap’s battery health in a significant way. That said, once the strap is fully charged, you can slide the battery pack off if you want to be extra cautious about wear and tear. But overall, you’re good to leave it on overnight—no harm done, and you won’t miss any sleep metrics.
Great feedback Ashley. You’re right! It’s safe to leave your battery pack on overnight. In fact, we designed the battery pack specifically for charging at night and charging on-the-go so that you never disrupt your data collection. Just remember to fully charge your battery pack before attaching it to your WHOOP before you go to sleep.
Thank you so much, Ashley and Ryan. I appreciate the help!
