Issues with insights impacts accuracy

I’ve been on the free trial for a month, taking my ADHD meds every day and logging it (25 ticks and 0 crosses for this activity so far). Yet Whoop somehow is saying this has a negative impact (-4%) on my recovery - how can it possibly make this analysis when it doesn’t have any days I’ve not taken meds to compare it to?

I generally take meds when I wake up and later log the time i took them. When it’s 17-19 hours before bed, Whoop shows an impact of -8%, when it’s 0-16 hours before bed it shows an impact of 0%.

I think I can see what it’s trying to do (give an average of the 8% and 0% values), but this doesn’t seem right?

Good question. As you alluded to, when WHOOP does not have any “No” responses from which it can estimate a Recovery Impact, it estimates the impact given the additional information provided in the Journal logs.

There may be confounding factors that WHOOP can only take into account once they are logged in the Journal. WHOOP will be able to provide more accurate estimates as you continue to log more behaviors over time.
