On my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, I paired the new Whoop 5. Day later, I checked the app and found, strap is disconnected. So I tried to connect, re-pair it, removed strap from the paired devices and pair it via Whoop app… Nothing works. No idea what to do.
Thanks for ideas or help!
Hi @danczer, in terms of next steps, here’s what I recommend:
- Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings, find WHOOP, and select ‘Forget Device.’
- Force stop the WHOOP app (Settings > Apps > WHOOP > Force Stop).
- Make sure no other devices are trying to connect to the strap. WHOOP can only pair with one device at a time.
- Restart your phone.
- Open the WHOOP app, go to More > Device Settings > Pair a New Device, and follow the instructions to put your strap in pairing mode.
- Try reconnecting through the WHOOP app.
If it still doesn’t work, check for firmware updates in the app (More > Device Settings > Update Firmware), or contact WHOOP Support in the app or at support@whoop.com.
Here’s a link to the WHOOP Support Setup page as well that contains a number of troubleshooting articles that may be helpful as well.
Hope this helps!
