Sensor is not charging

Hello,

Just received my whoop 5.0.

I was able to pair it earlier this morning.

However, after a few minutes, the device is not pair with my phone anymore.

The battery seems fully charged (green led when pluged to usb C charger).

When i slid the charger into the sensor, i hear the “click”. The charger has a green led for like 2 to 3 seconds then nothing happens.

Can you help me please?

Hi @d_hak, thanks for the note.

Please try these steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Remove WHOOP from your wrist.
  2. Rapidly tap the top of the sensor until the LED pulses blue (ready to pair).
  3. Open the WHOOP app, go to More > Device Settings > Advanced > Pair a Device, and select your WHOOP sensor ID.

If the issue persists:

  • Slide the charger back onto the sensor to ensure it’s secure.
  • Check for green LEDs under the sensor.
  • If still unresponsive, leave it charging for 15 minutes and reboot the device via the app (Device Settings > Reboot Device).

Let me know if this works.

SAME Problem - DOA sensor - nothing works - have tried all trouble shooting and can’t get in touch with anyone to discuss replacement. I have tried everything suggested. The battery is green - nothing from the sensors - this was an upgrade - where do I go next?

Interestingly enough - my husband got a 5.0 upgrade and I used his charger on my DOA device and BANG - it’s working …very weird -

@drob68 @d_hak If you’re still having bluetooth connectivity issues after the above step, its’ best to contact support via our webform here. My whoop run out of battery completely and now is completely dead and doesn’t charge! Help!!! I tried everything

Hey! If you’ve already tried everything and your WHOOP still isn’t cooperating, you may need to reach out to support@whoop.com. But before you do, give these steps a shot just in case:

  1. Make sure your battery pack is fully charged. When you plug it in, the LED should light up.
  2. Attach the battery pack to your WHOOP sensor until it clicks into place. The LED should turn red or green when it’s connected properly.
  3. Try double-tapping the top of your WHOOP to see if any green lights show up underneath.
  4. If it’s still unresponsive, open the WHOOP app, head to Device Settings, go to the Advanced tab, and tap Reboot Device. Make sure your WHOOP is on the charger and close to your phone when you do this.

If you’ve gone through all of that and it’s still not working, shoot a note to support@whoop.com.
