Should I be worried if whoop shows low respiratory rate when I wake up in the morning?

What does respiratory rate even mean? Mine’s been lower than usual but I have no idea how bad that is.

respiratory rate measures the number of breaths you take per minute. WHOOP shows you that number from while you were sleeping

usually a lower respiratory rate isn’t anything to worry about, but a dramatic respiratory rate increase (along with decreases in HRV and increases in RHR) can be correlated with illness

(of course you should consult a medical professional if you have concerns)
