There are some things that Whoop 5.0 will not do. One of these is food tracking. I use a 3rd party food tracking software that communicates with my Whoop App and a lot of data such as calories burned, sleep details, and such are brought into the 3rd party app, and a lot of details of the app, are then brought into my Whoop app (connecting through Apple Health) and shows up in my morning journal.
Is there a way to have this connect into the coaching feature to help make recommendations based on recent eating trends?
Thanks for the feedback @MichaelJClark . I’ll make sure to pass on this feedback to our Product team.
You’re right that WHOOP currently doesn’t integrate food tracking data directly into coaching recommendations. However, syncing your third-party app through Apple Health allows some data like calories burned and sleep details to flow into WHOOP. This can personalize your profile and insights but won’t tie eating trends to coaching yet.
For now:
- Log behaviors like meal timing or type in your WHOOP Journal for trend tracking.
- Use calorie burn data to align food intake with activity levels.
- Keep syncing your apps to refine insights over time.
WHOOP is always evolving, so this feature could be added in the future!
