What’s to stop me from getting a new device free every year?

Since the membership no longer comes with a device update when you release a new one for customers with less than 12 months left and 12 months is the minimum membership why shouldn’t I just pick up a new whoop each year at Best Buy and activate it on my account the day my current membership is set to expire? You don’t replace a battery pack if I loose it this way I get a new one. You don’t give customers an upgrade for their device if their “membership” is less than 12 months. Not sure if you would replace a worn band or lost device for free. This way I get a new band, device, battery and I’m always less than 12 months away from renewing. The only negative is not getting the discount for 24 months. Am I missing anything here? Since the membership is just as much as the device why shouldn’t I get a new device yearly…

Or @Whoop what about giving us a store credit each year and having us pay shipping… the credit can go to a new band, device, or battery pack and if we don’t use it can use it to upgrade early the next time you release hardware. Or even upgrade to the more premium plan let’s say if we’ve just save the credits for a few years. That would make me happy… help make longtime users feel valued… I mean definitely costs more than the policy now which is no new costs when a customer renews but feels very fair.
