And how can we make it even better?
Definitely the journal. It’s amazing to see how behaviors impact my recovery that I never thought would. Like eating close to bedtime.
I know it’s new, but Healthspan on MG is a game changer. It’s so motivating.
Do I want to watch an hour more of Netflix and go to bed late? Or do I want to get younger? I think the latter
Blood Pressure is awesome but I would like to see all the readings taken not just the Highs and Lows. Maybe click to show details of all reading and times. Main reason, the final result the highest + lowest / 2. Which for the most part would be fine. But I can see some reasons for one very high reading, A nightmare, or Loud bad that startles during the night. This one high reading will skew the average. Example 120 & 100 = avg 110. But one high of 140 which could be an anomaly & 100 = 120. Not ideal if 10 readings are under 120
Honestly, this community page! At a time where a lot of Whoop users (myself included) feel like Whoop is out of touch with it’s user base (mostly because of the new hardware/membership release) it comes as a breath of fresh air that our feedback is in fact valued. So I hope this forum becomes a place for constructive discussions and brings the Whoop team and us closer together
edit: also happy birthday @Durkin
I like the Whoop web app, but it really needs some design love. If it looked more like the mobile app (colors etc) and had more of its features (health monitor, stress monitor, VO2max…) I would definitely use it more! And if it didn’t ask me for my credentials every single time
Agreed Whoop responding to customer/membership feedback allows members to feel like they have some ownership in their investment, are cared for, and matter. Customer service, reassurance, and satisfaction make/break companies. If I don’t feel valued, or the customer support is not there, unethical practices… I’m done. The recent $50 up charge with the 5.0 release was a super bogus move. The car-sales like membership tactics are pretty lame too. As a military veteran, I would like a discount continuously on the membership; not just a one time occurrence at the start.
Anywho… seems like the company is trying to make amends with customers and that’s reassuring. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have reconsidered staying with the company and giving the Whoop 5.0 a try. I am dissatisfied that I cannot use my old Whoop bands. That is not appealing in the least bit and was a lame move.
It is still a hard product for me to recommend to friends, coworkers , family. Etc because of the aggressive sales tactics, dishonesty, etc. I enjoy the product overall though.
The feature I like most is the hardware/strap having no display lol. I do find the 5.0 with the elevated/protruding bottoms more comfortable because it keeps the sharp edges off my skin and from digging into my wrist bone. Also, increased battery and improved accelerometer are other huge features. Wish the module itself didn’t feel like such poor/cheap quality, but seems to work well enough
I would like to see a heart rate range and readings throughout the night. My resting heart rate drops as low as 33BPM and I like to know my oxygen saturation is doing well. I currently wear an Oura ring to monitor this, but wish the Whoop offered this as well. As an athlete, knowing what my heart rate is doing throughout the night is important to me considering I have an extremely trained heart and low resting HR.
@Athletejmv Thanks for sharing your feedback.
The no display has always been a core tenant of our approach here at WHOOP. Distraction free. It’s actually my favorite feature as well. I agree the 14 day battery life is a big deal as well.
Regarding the heart rate feedback, I’ll pass on your note to the Product leader focused on health here. Great feedback.
Thanks again for writing in. We appreciate it.
Thanks @Fotocraphy for the feedback. Much appreciated! I’ll pass your app design feedback over to the Product Design team. And I’m glad you’re liking the community page. We launched it recently, and it will continue to get better in time. Still early days. Oh, and thank you for the birthday wishes as well.
Thanks for your acknowledgment of feedback. One other suggestion may be to tie oxygen saturation to the heart-rate at the time of reading
I’ll let the Product lead who focuses on everything heart related know. Thanks @Athletejmv.
@sambenger Thanks for sharing. I have a strong feeling that healthspan will be one of those game defining features we launched that looking back years from now will have made a massive impact in improving health outcomes. Thanks for letting us know you’re finding value with it. Don’t stay up too late tonight .
i love that the customer services makes me want to kill myself! the useless AI chat creates a case so you can speak to what must be a useless AI email bot. I have sent 6 emails so far to understand when my order will be shipped and im no closer to understanding when it will be processed. What i really love is that i paid £7.99 for standard shipping (3-5 days) and im still yet to be processed.
Thanks for the feedback @AlanGooner. I’ll pass this feedback onto the Product lead on this. Thanks for leaning in on the community engagement!
I love the insights feature, although it’s really hidden. I wish you guys would put this on the homepage front and center. By having it visible it would encourage me to fill out my journal every single day- by not having it highly visible, I miss journal taking. Would love it if you could do that- thanks!
Please give us the same 4.0 Surge SportFlex Band color for the 5.0. The 5.0 options aren’t good!
