I’m from Singapore and am very keen with the latest data sets coming from Whoop MG.
However, after checking out - I’m realising now that a lot of the data included in the MG isn’t supported in Singapore and kinda made me feel stupid buying this new membership while still operating on the same data sets of the 4.0.
The Whoop coach says it will not fulfill the order if my address is Singapore, but the payment has already gone through.

You’re right that there are some regional restrictions to features. Features like Heart Screener, IHRN, and Blood Pressure Insights aren’t supported in Singapore due to regulatory restrictions. WHOOP MG hardware can still be purchased, but those features won’t work until approved in that region. We’re working to expand access to our MG features as quickly as we can.

Thanks Durkin - but my point here is more towards the information being available before a user were to make the purchase.
Following the sentiments in here and Reddit, this entire release seems to be more focused on revenue than genuinely growing the world of health.
I’ve been happy with the 4.0 and hadn’t considered upgrading, until seeing the benefits of the MG to have made the purchase, to my dismay - these are not ready and there isn’t a timeline on when it’ll be ready.
I’m curious to hear what your colleague has to say based on where I’m at. If there isn’t a timeline - I’m very likely to cancel my order and maintain with the 4.0 until it’s ready.
