I have ordered whoop 5.0 to a different country as my friend is traveling from there and there is no device upgrade in my country . Will the 4.0 gets automatically disconnected once the 5.0 is delivered my whoop 4.0 dosent turn on and got disconnected at night
Hey there,
No, your WHOOP 4.0 won’t automatically disconnect when the new one shows up. Both can exist side-by-side for now. When you’re ready to make the switch, you’ll need to manually pair your WHOOP 5.0 in the app. WHOOP devices only connect to one account at a time, so make sure to update the connection when you’re set to start using the new one.
Hi liv , thanks for updating , but it’s not working from night even when it’s charged it says last sync at 3:23 am and after that it just won’t turn on .
I will get the 5.0 to me in June 1st week also I wanted to give my 4.0 to my friend so ordered at 2 month cycle gift pack as well . This is a known issue or is there some fault with the device ?
It sounds like this is a one-off issue. I’m listing some troubleshooting steps below. If these don’t work, I recommend reaching out to WHOOP Support.
Here are some steps to try that often resolve syncing issues:
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and that WHOOP is connected.
- Toggle Bluetooth off and on again.
- In the WHOOP app, go to More > Device Settings > Sync Now to force a sync.
- Forget the WHOOP device in your phone’s Bluetooth settings and then re-pair it through the app.
- Check for WHOOP firmware updates in the app under More > Device Settings > Update Firmware.
- Ensure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data for uploading data.
- Disable any power-saving modes or background app restrictions that might limit syncing.
- Keep the WHOOP app open and the sensor nearby during syncing.
- Restart your phone and the WHOOP app.
- If needed, reinstall the WHOOP app.
