Sometimes I do an activity without my Whoop on (dead battery, forget bicep sleeve for non-wrist tracking during jiu jitsu, etc.).
I know I can manually add an activity, but it doesn’t look like that activity has any associated strain. This seems to throw off my weekly strain and recovery needed.
Is there a way for Whoop to approximate strain on activities where it was not worn? Jiu jitsu, weightlifting, etc.

WHOOP needs heart rate data to calculate strain, so if you weren’t wearing the device, it can’t estimate it. Manually logged activities won’t generate strain, which can throw off your weekly numbers. Could be interesting if there was a way to estimate strain from self-reported workouts in the future.
Hey Matt, I’ve run into this issue as well. Unfortunately, I don’t believe there is a a way for WHOOP to approximate strain data yet.
Got it. Guess I will have to be a more diligent charger of my Whoop (or get a second bicep sleeve and leave it at the BJJ gym)
