What does it mean to hit 100%… and how does WHOOP figure that number out?

100% of your Sleep Need is calculated by combining these factors:

  • Strain: The physical and mental load on your body. Higher strain increases your sleep need.
  • Sleep Debt: Any sleep missed in recent days is added to your sleep need to help you recover.
