Hello, I am new in the whoop world. I track all my activities with my Garmin watch, is it necessary to track my activities on the whoop too? To see my workout statistics etc. I use Garmin don’t need whoop. Any suggestions?

I also have Garmin products I use for tracking my activities. I have this data written to Apple Health where Whoop can access if you allow it. Consequently my activities I log with Garmin are auto detected by Whoop and it does it’s own analysis. It mostly uses Start and End time of the activity and then uses it’s own HR and other analytics to determine the strain score. HR is a bit iffy on the Whoop MG so it might not represent the same effort Garmin states but for the most part it seems fine.
To answer your question, Whoop uses Strain to calculate recovery and over all health so whilst you do not need to manually log activities you really should get you Garmin activities to Whoop for a bigger health picture.
